- Paint: Fusion Mineral Paint in Little Lamb, white, paisley blue, liberty blue, barn red, cathedral taupe
- Chip brushes, sandpaper, painter's tape, and a soft rag
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prep the Round Board
Paint your 16" round with Fusion Mineral Paint in "Little Lamb" (a soft gray). Sand edges for a lightly distressed base.
2. Create Faux Plank Lines
Paint two horizontal black lines (top and bottom sections). Tape over the black lines to mask them.
3. Dry Brush Color Layers
Lightly dry brush over the white sections with paisley blue, taupe, liberty blue, and barn red to create a layered, distressed look.
4. Paint the Center Section
Remove and shift the tape to expose the center section. Use the same dry brushing method to add color.
5. Sand for a Distressed Finish
Once dry, sand the entire surface gently.
6. Apply Transfers
Cut out florals from the Patriotic Florals transfer pack. Apply one at the top and one at the bottom using the Rub-On Transfer Tool.
