    Coffee Chalkboard Sign

    Materials Needed

    • Coffee Menu 12x16 Stencil Set
    • 12x16 wood board
    • Fusion Mineral Paint in Coal Black
    • Casement White or Raw Silk (white chalky paint)
    • Stencil brush
    • Painters tape
    • Cardboard or paper towel for offloading

    Step-by-Step Instructions

    1. Prep Your Board
Start with a clean, dry 12x16 board. Wipe off any dust or debris to ensure a smooth surface.

    2. Paint the Chalkboard Base
Apply Fusion’s Coal Black paint across the board using a brush or mini roller. Let it dry completely. One coat is often enough, but you can do two for deeper coverage.

    3. Position Your Stencil
Once the board is dry, center the Coffee Menu Stencil on the board. Secure it with painter’s tape to keep it steady.

    4. Stencil the Design
Use a stencil brush with white paint. Offload excess paint onto cardboard to avoid bleed-through. Apply with a gentle swirling or dabbing motion for that classic chalk look.

    5. Reveal Your Design
Lift the stencil carefully to reveal your crisp coffee sign design. Let the paint dry fully before hanging or displaying.

    Helpful Tips

    • Less is more: Offload most of your paint to keep lines clean and sharp.
    • Use painter’s tape: It helps keep the stencil from shifting during application.
    • Think beyond the kitchen: This stencil would also be perfect in a coffee shop, office break room, or even as a housewarming gift!
