    Table of Contents

    Materials Needed

    • Welcome to Our Patch Strawberry Stencil
    • 12" wood round (from Craft Dealz or similar)
    • White, red, black, yellow, green acrylic paint
    • Stencil brushes or sponges
    • Frog Tape
    • Sander or sanding block
    • Blow dryer (optional, for faster drying)

    Prepping Your Wood Round

Start by choosing a clean, smooth side of your wood round. If you spot imperfections or manufactured defects, don’t worry—that’s part of the charm!

Apply a white base coat using a sponge or brush, then dry completely using a blow dryer.

    Painting & Stenciling the Design

Use Frog Tape to section off the top portion of the round, and paint it red. Let it dry fully before peeling the tape to reveal a crisp white and red divide.

Align your stencil and tape it securely. Begin with painting strawberries and flowers along the bottom—use red for berries, yellow or pink for flowers, and black or white for seeds depending on your desired contrast.

    Finishing Touches

Use the top portion of the stencil to add the phrase “Welcome to Our Patch” in white paint. Be careful around red areas to avoid unwanted pink tones.

Seal your design if desired, or even add a resin top to turn it into a lazy Susan!

    Helpful Tips

    • Always offload your brush—too much paint causes bleeding under stencils.
    • Let red areas dry completely before layering white to prevent turning pink.
    • If using multiple stencil layers, mark front and back to ensure proper alignment.
