    Step-by-Step Instructions

    1. Prepare Your Board

Start with a round board that is pre-painted white. Make sure it’s clean and completely dry.

    2. Stencil the Tree Stump

Position the tree stump stencil at the bottom of the board. Using a stencil brush, fill with Woodwick brown. Let dry before lifting the stencil.

    3. Stencil the First Bird

Place the first bird on top of the tree stump. Fill the body with pastel pink. Lift stencil and allow to dry.

Realign the stencil to add details: eyes and feet in black, wings, tail, and beak in pastel green.

    4. Stencil the Second Bird

Stencil the feet first on top of the first bird and fill with black. Then position the body and fill with pastel green. Lift once dry.

Align the detail stencil for the second bird. Fill the eyes with black and wings/beak with pastel pink.

    5. Stencil the Third Bird

Place the third bird’s body on top of the second bird. Fill with pastel pink and let dry.

Add details to the third bird: wings and beak in pastel green, eyes and feet in black.

    6. Add Flowers, Mushrooms, and Butterflies

Place the tallest flower stencil beside the birds. Fill flower with pastel pink and stem/leaves with pastel green.

Position the mushroom stencil opposite the tree stump. Fill the cap with red and the stem with pastel pink.

Add butterflies across the board in red. Use white paint for mushroom spots.

Stencil grass below the tree stump in pastel green. Add the flower vine on the opposite side: stem/leaves in green, flower in red.

    7. Final Reveal

And there you have it—a vibrant, layered Stacked Happy Birds round board perfect for spring décor!

    Helpful Tips

    • Offload your brush: Always remove excess paint before stenciling to avoid bleeding.
    • Light pressure: Especially on thin bridges and detailed areas like wings and beaks.
    • Custom placement: Birds, flowers, and butterflies can be positioned however you like for a unique look.
    • Layer one element at a time: Let each section dry to prevent smudging.
