πŸ’˜ Three Sweet Valentine Tags You’ll Love Creating

Happy Valentine crafting! πŸ’• Today’s project comes from one of our Tuesday night lives with Melissa Miller of Millers Rustic Sawmill. Melissa shows how to create three reversible Valentine mini tags using stencils and rub-on transfers.

These tags are quick to make, beginner-friendly, and perfect for gifting, decorating, or adding to a wrapped present.

Love You More Valentine Tag

Materials Used:

Step 1: Paint the Background

Apply pale pink paint using a brush or paper towel. Add a second coat if needed and paint the edges for a finished look. Let dry completely.

Step 2: Stencil the Design

Tape down the β€œLove You More” stencil. Use a mini brush with red paint and stencil using light, circular motions. Remove stencil carefully.

Helpful Tips:
βœ” Paper towels create a soft, streak-free base coat.
βœ” Always stencil on a fully dry surface.

Floral β€œForever” Tag with Rub-On Transfers

Step 1: Paint the Backgrounds

Paint one tag pale pink. Allow it to dry completely before applying transfers.

Materials Used:

Step 2: Apply Rub-On Transfers

Cut out floral pieces and arrange them on the tag. Burnish firmly until fully transferred.

Step 3: Add the Word Accent

Tape down the β€œForever” stencil and stencil using black paint for contrast.

Helpful Tips:
βœ” Transfers can wrap over edges for a seamless look.
βœ” Light pressure prevents tearing delicate designs.

Love Is Patient Script Tag

Step 1: Paint the Tag

Paint the third tag red and allow it to dry fully.

Step 2: Stencil the Script

Position the script stencil and stencil using pale pink paint. Add a second coat if needed.

Helpful Tips:
βœ” Partial script designs work beautifully on small surfaces.
βœ” If it’s not perfect, paint makes it easy to try again.

These Valentine tags are reversible, giftable, and easy to customize. Tie them together with ribbon or flip them over to create a second design.
