Materials

  • April 2026 Stencil of the Month โ€“ Coastal Set
  • Stencil Brush Set | Pure Natural Bristle Brushes โ€“ Shop here
  • Mini Stencil Brush Set (4pk) โ€“ Shop here
  • Stacked picture frame set
  • Watercolor paper or Bristol board
  • Acrylic paint (brown, light blue, white, metallic brown)

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Remove Frame Inserts

Start by grabbing your stacked picture frame set and removing all decorative inserts.

2. Prepare Background Papers

Cut two watercolor papers to fit your frame inserts. Lightly brush on brown and light blue paint for a soft coastal background.

3. Stencil the Turtle Design

Place the turtle stencil (first layer) and fill with white paint. Let dry.

Once dry, add the second stencil layer using blue paint for detail and depth.

4. Create the Starfish Design

Lightly brush another paper with blue and brown tones for the background.

Stencil the starfish in brown, darkening edges for depth. Add a second layer in white and finish with small accent stars.

5. Add the Quote Design

Cut a white sheet to fit your frame and stencil the phrase โ€œBeach is Calling and I Must Goโ€ in light brown paint.

Add metallic seashell accents around the quote for a soft shimmer effect.

6. Assemble the Coastal Trio

Once everything is fully dry, place each finished design into the stacked frames and arrange your coastal set.
