Begin by painting your round board with gold, yellow, and orange paint. Use a sponge to blend the colors together until you achieve a beautiful autumn-inspired background.
While the paint is still slightly damp, add a little brown paint around the bottom and edges of the board and a touch of white in the center. Blend everything together for a soft, glowing effect.
Allow the background to dry completely, then lightly sand the surface. This creates a smoother finish and helps your transfers adhere beautifully.
Tip: Don't skip the sanding step. A smooth surface makes a big difference when applying rub-on transfers.
