Double-Sided Easter Round Board DIY ✨

Hey friends! Today we’re sharing a beautiful Easter-inspired double-sided round board project created by Sharon Hankins of I Restore Stuff. This meaningful DIY combines stencils and rub-on transfers to create two layered Easter designs on one reversible piece.

This project is perfect if you love versatile décor—you can flip the board for a completely different look on each side.

📌 Jump to Project

🎨 Board Preparation

Start with your round board, pre-painted on both sides in an off-white finish. Make sure the surface is clean, smooth, and completely dry before beginning.

🌿 Side 1: Crown of Thorns + Layered Transfer

Position the Crown of Thorns stencil onto one side of the board. Using a stencil brush, apply brown paint in light layers. You can add a second coat for deeper coverage.

Carefully lift the stencil and allow it to dry completely.

Next, cut out your design from the Worthy is the Lamb Rub-On Transfer Set and place it in the center of the board. Gently burnish it using your transfer tool until fully adhered.

🔄 Flip the Board

Once Side 1 is complete and dry, flip the board over to begin the second design.

🌸 Side 2: Floral Cross + Stencil Overlay

Cut out a cross design from the Floral Crosses Rub-On Transfer Set. Position it in the center of the board and burnish it using your transfer tool until fully transferred.

Next, place the Crown of Thorns stencil around the design. Use a darker brown paint to create contrast and dimension.

💡 Tip: Reversing the layering order creates a completely different visual effect on each side.

✨ Final Reveal

This double-sided Easter board gives you two unique seasonal looks in one piece—perfect for farmhouse décor styling or gifting.
