1. Paint Your Base
Start by painting your 18” round board with white paint using a chip brush. Let it dry completely, then apply a second coat for smooth, even coverage. Don’t worry if the first coat looks streaky—the second coat makes all the difference.
2. Lightly Sand
Once dry, lightly sand the surface to create a smooth base for your stencil design.
3. Mark Your Center
Position your “Let Freedom Ring” stencil from the America the Beautiful set in the center. Use painter’s tape to mark your placement, then remove the stencil before moving on.
4. Stencil the Top Section
