Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Paint the Surface
Start by painting your wood surface white as a base coat.
Step 2: Apply the Checkerboard Pattern
Use painter's tape to secure your stencil and apply black paint using a dry stencil brush in a swirling motion.
Step 3: Add Transfers
Cut out the pumpkin and crow transfer and place it where you'd like it to stand out. For best results, add a light coat of white paint underneath dark areas to make the design pop.
