✨ Dress Form Glow-Up: Create a Meaningful Stencil & Transfer Masterpiece

In this tutorial, Amanda adds a stencil and a couple of rub-on transfers to a decorative dress form to create a one-of-a-kind inspiration piece. Each word and design represents something meaningful to her life, making this project both beautiful and personal.

Decorated Dress Form Inspiration Piece

Step 1: Prep Your Dress Form

Start by making sure your dress form is clean and completely dry before beginning your project. This helps paint and transfers adhere properly.

Step 2: Stencil the Design

Position the Stronger Than the Storm Stencil on the shoulder area of the dress form and secure it with painter’s tape to prevent shifting.

Using one of the brushes from the Stencil Brush Set, apply black paint over the lettering using a light dabbing motion. Be sure to offload excess paint from your brush first to prevent bleeding.

Allow the first coat to dry, then apply a second coat for fuller coverage.

Step 3: Add the Bunny Transfer

Cut out your chosen bunny design from the Little Bunny Daydreams Rub-On Transfer Pack.

Place it along the bottom edge of the dress form and use the Essential Rub-On Transfer Tool to burnish the design until it fully adheres.

Carefully peel away the backing sheet once the transfer has released.

Step 4: Add the Floral Cross Transfer

Cut out a small cross design from the Floral Crosses Rub-On Transfer Pack.

Position it in the upper middle section of the dress form and burnish it with your transfer tool until the design is completely adhered.

Final Reveal

In just about 25 minutes, Amanda transformed this dress form into a meaningful décor piece. Each design element tells a story—from the encouraging stencil phrase to the bunny transfer inspired by her grandson.
