Project 1: Sleigh Rides Round Sign

Materials

Steps

  1. Paint your round with Lagoon blue. Use a blow dryer to speed up drying.
  2. Position the Buffalo Check stencil and fill with black paint. Repeat the pattern to cover the surface.
  3. Center the “Sleigh Rides” stencil from the Santa Baby Mini pack. Stencil in white, applying a second coat for boldness.

  • When stenciling with white over dark colors, apply two coats for a crisp finish.
  • Use painter’s tape to hold stencils steady and avoid shifting.
  • Offload excess paint onto cardstock before stenciling to prevent bleeding.

  5. Reposition to add “and Bright” below the deer, using the same white paint.
