    Step-by-Step Instructions

    1. Prepare Your Wood Blocks

Start with three 6x6 wood blocks. Make sure each surface is clean, smooth, and completely dry before applying your transfers. A light sanding helps ensure a better bond.

    2. Cut Out Your Designs

From the Merry & Sweet Christmas transfer pack, cut out three festive designs—one for each block. Cutting closely around each image makes it easier to position them precisely on your wood surface.

    3. Apply the Transfers

Peel away the backing and place each design face-down on your wood block. Using the Essential Rub-On Transfer Tool, burnish firmly in small circular motions until the design fully adheres. Gently lift the top sheet to reveal your design—so simple and satisfying!

    4. Final Reveal

Once your designs are transferred, gently wipe away any dust or residue and enjoy your new Christmas blocks! These look adorable on kitchen counters, shelves, or tiered trays—and make wonderful handmade gifts.

    Helpful Tips

    • Dry surfaces are key! If your wood or paint is even slightly damp, the transfer may not adhere properly.
    • Work slowly and check as you burnish—if part of the design lifts, press it back down and rub again.
    • To add extra detail, use a stencil brush and white paint to create falling snow or polka dots around your design.
    • Seal with a clear matte sealer if desired for long-term durability.

    Finish & Display

That’s it! In just a few minutes, you’ll have a set of festive Christmas blocks ready to decorate your kitchen, mantel, or entryway. They’re so easy, even kids or grandkids can help!
