Start with clean, smooth plastic ornaments. Place each ornament into a small bowl, cup, or foam holder to prevent it from rolling while you work.
Cut out your favorite sea turtle from the transfer sheet. Position it carefully on the ornament and use the Essential Rub-On Transfer Tool to firmly burnish the design onto the curved surface.
Work slowly from one side to the other, lifting the backing only after each section has fully released. This helps ensure a clean transfer without damaging the design.
Tie a simple piece of jute or twine through the ornament loop to give your ornament a natural coastal look before decorating.
Now it's time for the fun part! Layer shells, moss, coral, dried florals, netting, starfish, or any other coastal accents around the top of the ornament using hot glue.
Each ornament can be styled a little differently. One may feature more netting and moss, while another may highlight shells or a starfish. Mixing textures creates a unique handmade look every time.
