Hey friends! Today weβre crafting alongside Amanda Dillon of Mettle Modern Design, who created a beautiful coastal Christmas sign using soft stain blending, layered stencils, and a few bright wooden ornaments. This project is perfect if you love a relaxed beachy vibeβeven during the holidays.
Start with a 10x20 board and lay down a full coat of white stain. Cover the edges for an even base.

While the white is still damp, apply Bay Blue to half of the board.

On the other half, apply Vintage Green, spray lightly with water, and blend the two colors together to create a soft ombrΓ© effect.

Once dry, sand lightly for a smooth, airy finish.

Position the βJust Another Day in Paradiseβ stencil and paint only βJust Anotherβ using white acrylic and your stencil brush.

Next, tape down the Merry Christmas to All stencil and apply only the word βChristmas.β

Add the word βinβ from the Paradise stencil pack.

Finish with βParadiseβ centered across the board.

Give everything a quick sand for a soft, coastal look.

Paint your wooden ornaments in a mix of coastal blues, soft pinks, or any colors that give your project personality.

Once dry, arrange them along the bottom of the board and glue them into place.

And thatβs it! A serene, coastal Christmas sign that brings a little paradise into your holiday decorating.
