Fresh Baked Pie Sign
Materials:
- Oh Good Gravy Stencil Set (3pk) — for the “Fresh Baked Pie” design
- 6x6 wood chunk
- Antiquing glaze
- Mustard yellow acrylic paint
- White acrylic paint
- Stencil Brush Set
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Apply antiquing glaze evenly over a 6x6 wood chunk.
- Using a clean, dry cloth, gently wipe off some glaze for a distressed effect. Blow dry to set.
- Lightly brush mustard yellow paint over the glaze for a warm, rustic look. Let dry.
- Position the “Fresh Baked Pie” stencil from the Oh Good Gravy Stencil Set on the wood. Paint the design in white and allow to dry.
Helpful Tips:
- Don’t overthink the background — the lettering will make it pop!
- Dry brushing adds texture without covering the glaze completely.
Double-Sided Gnome/Tree Design
Materials:
- Fall Forest Gnome Rub-on Transfer Set
- Essential Rub-On Transfer Tool
- 6x6 wood chunk (reverse side of the pie sign)
- White acrylic paint
- Fine grit sandpaper
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Sand the other side of the wood chunk for a smooth surface.
- Apply white paint, leaving some wood exposed for an aged effect. Blow dry to set.
- Cut out the tree design from the Fall Forest Gnome Rub-on Transfer Pack. Burnish onto the surface using the transfer tool.
