In this rustic farmhouse sign project, we'll create a beautiful "Pray Until the Cows Come Home" round sign using layered stencil elements, a weathered barnwood-inspired background, and simple stencil techniques that anyone can master.

Begin by painting your 12" round board with an off-white paint using a sponge. Leave the paint slightly damp so you can blend additional color into the surface.
While the paint is still wet, lightly streak brown paint across the surface. This simple technique creates a subtle barnwood-inspired look with added depth and texture.
Allow the background to dry completely before moving on to the stencil work.
Position the Follow the Word Stencil onto the board. For this project, you'll only use the cows, road, landscape, and cross elements.
Using a Mini Stencil Brush, fill the cows and road with brown paint.
Next, use a separate stencil brush to fill the grassy areas with green paint. Apply a second coat if needed for fuller coverage.
