Side 1 โ€“ Winter Nordic Pattern Tag

Materials Used:

Step 1: Start with a large door tag pre-stained in dark walnut. Make sure itโ€™s clean and completely dry before stenciling.

Step 2: Tape down the Nordic Christmas Pattern Stencil from the Classic Christmas Stencil Bundle 2025. Using a stencil brush, fill the design with white paint, swirling gently for even coverage. Apply a second coat for a brighter, more defined pattern.

Step 3: Carefully lift the stencil to reveal a crisp winter pattern. Let dry completely before flipping for the next side.

Helpful Tip:
For smooth stencil lines, use very little paint and apply in circular motions. This helps prevent bleed-through and gives a professional finish.

Side 2 โ€“ Oh Christmas Tree Tag

Materials Used:

Step 1: Flip the tag and position the Christmas Tree Stencil near the bottom. Using green paint and a stencil brush, fill in the tree shape evenly.

Step 2: Dip a fan brush in white paint and gently dab the tree branches to mimic soft snow.

Step 3: Using a mini stencil brush, fill the star at the top with gold paint for a festive sparkle.

Step 4: Position Layer 2 of the stencil and paint the ornaments in gold and cranberry. Apply two thin coats for a richer, dimensional finish.

Step 5: Fill the tree stem with dark brown paint. Once dry, add a light dusting of white to give it a snowy look.

Helpful Tip:
Melissa recommends light, layered coats of paint for the best coverage without bleeding. Let each layer dry before adding details or metallic accents.
