    Step-by-Step Instructions

    1. Prep and Base Coat

Start by covering your wooden tag in Prussian Blue using a wet wipe. Ensure it's fully covered and dry it completely.

    2. Stencil Placement

Place the Every Good and Perfect Gift Sign Stencil on the tag. Use white paint to stencil just the snowman portion to guide your shape.

    3. Add the Snowman Shape

Lift the stencil and lightly dab grey paint over the snowman shape using a scruffy brush.

    4. Stencil the Words

Reposition the stencil and use a sponge to paint the lettering in silver.

    5. Highlight the Snowman

Go back over the snowman with white paint to brighten him up and add fluffy dimension. Dab under him to create a snowy base.

    6. Add Facial Features & Arms

Use mini brushes to paint the nose white first, then add a bright orange top coat. Use burnt umber for arms and black for eyes, mouth, and buttons.

    7. Paint the Scarf and Snowflakes

Use burgundy red to paint a simple scarf. Add snowflakes from the stencil with white paint anywhere you'd like.

    8. Add Finishing Touches

Use your detail brush to add white polka dots to the scarf, fringe lines, and light snow effects on the snowman's nose and arms.

    Helpful Tips

    • Base coat issues? Add a second coat and blend it in — streaks can be turned into snow effects!
    • Use white under orange for bright nose coverage against dark backgrounds.
    • No pink paint? Blend white with a dab of red to make soft blush for snowman cheeks.
