While we can't restock all designs, you can play a crucial role! To make sure your favorite design gets restocked, simply add your email to the "Request a Restock Notification" list on the out-of-stock product page. By doing this, if the item does get restocked, you'll be the first to know the minute it's restocked :)

We have a few key tips and techniques to help you minimize paint bleed start creating beautiful signs in no time :)

Watch quick tutorial

1. Ensure your stenciling surface is smooth, if stenciling on wood sand your board before and after painting with a #220 fine grit sand paper. This will smooth out any paint strokes from your paint brush.

2. Master the Dry Brush technique; this is essential to minimizing or eliminating paint bleed altogether. Start by dipping your stencil brush or sponge in your paint (chalk paint is recommended) then off load most of the paint onto a paper towel. Almost no paint should be left on your brush/sponge! 

3. Next use stippling method to stencil your design, which is dabbing your brush up and down against stencil openings, this will help prevent your stencil from lifting.

4. Use multiple thin coats of paint to darken any light area, then lift up to reveal your AMAZING finished project :)

With a little patience and some extra love, you will be stenciling like a PRO before you know it!

The type of paint we recommend for stenciling depends on the surface you'll be working with. Generally, we suggest using a heavy body acrylic that's highly pigmented for optimal results. 1. Make sure your project surface is dry and clean of debris
2. Cut around desired transfer. image.
3. Place transfer image, peel back white paper backing and gently lower transfer on to surface.
4. Use transfer tool to rub the entire image firmly onto project surface.
5. Slowly peel away transfer sheet. If image is not fully transferred, gently lower it back down and use transfer tool again.
6. Once image has been transferred, we recommend applying a top coat with a water-based sealer such as Polycrylic.
