    Step-by-Step Instructions

    1. Prepare Your Sign Board

Start with an 11.5" round sign board painted in an off-white shade like Fusion's Raw Silk. If your board is thin, store it flat with weight on top while drying to prevent warping.

    2. Stencil the Turkey's Head & Body

Secure the first layer of your Football Turkey stencil with tape. Using a stencil brush, paint the head and body in a grey-brown tone like Fusion's Oakum.

    3. Paint the Football Feathers

Mix Fusion's Wood Wick with a hint of Marigold to get a warm, orangey-brown. Fill in the football-shaped feathers, taking care to avoid the turkey body.

    4. Align & Add Second Layer Details

Lift the first stencil and align the second layer carefully so the football laces and facial features match up perfectly.

    5. Paint the Snood (Wattle)

Using a mini brush, paint the snood bright red with Fusion's Fort York Red. Apply two coats for a vivid finish.

    6. Add the Beak

Fill in the beak using Fusion's Marigold paint from the Alchemy range for a bright pop of color.

    7. Stencil the White Details

Using Casement White, stencil the eyes, feather laces, and outlines. Keep your brush lightly loaded to avoid bleeding.

    8. Final Reveal

Your Football Turkey sign is ready to display! Perfect for Thanksgiving gatherings and sports fans alike.

    Helpful Tips

    • Always offload excess paint onto cardboard before stenciling to prevent bleeding.
    • Thin boards may warp; weigh them down while drying.
    • Layer paints in thin coats for sharper stencil lines.
