    Santa Peeking Chimney Christmas Round

    Materials

    Step-by-Step Instructions

    1. Prep the Wood Round

Start with a clean, fully dry 16” wood round painted in crisp white.

    2. Paint the Bottom Red

Run painter’s tape across the middle. Paint the bottom red using Fusion’s Cranberry. Blow dry, then apply a second coat for bold coverage.

    3. Add a Shadow Line

Once dry, remove the tape. Use a ruler as a guide and lightly dry-brush black paint to create a soft shadow where the two colors meet.

    4. Add Santa

Cut out your Santa from the Jolly Saint Nick Transfer Set. Position him so his hands peek over the “chimney.” Burnish until fully adhered.

    5. Paint the Brick Chimney

Use a ruler and Mini Brush Set to dry-brush thin black lines across the red section, creating oversized vintage bricks.

    6. Stencil “Merry Christmas”

Grab the “Merry Christmas” layer from the Santa & Rudolph Greetings Stencil Set. Stencil in white using a swirling motion and very little paint.

    7. Add Holly Accents

Cut two holly branches from the Cozy Winter Cuddles Transfer Set. Place one on each side of Santa for a balanced, festive finish.

    Helpful Tips

    • Use minimal paint when stenciling to avoid bleed-through.
    • Offload your brush thoroughly before touching the board.
    • Dry-brush shadows lightly — subtle is better than bold here.
    • The Essential Transfer Tool gives smoother contact than a credit card.
    • Seal the finished round with a matte water-based topcoat for durability.
