1. Paint the base.
Start by painting an 18Γ12β oval wood board with white paint. Allow it to dry completely, then apply a second coat for full coverage. Let dry.

2. Apply rub-on transfers.
Cut out several designs from the Mardi Gras Masquerade Rub-on Transfer Set. Randomly place them on the board, layering pieces as desired. Burnish with the transfer tool until fully adhered.

3. Add stencil words.
Select a few words from the Mardi Gras 1β Words Stencil Pack. Randomly position them across the board. Using a mini stencil brush, apply purple, green, and yellow paint.

4. Add festive dots.
Using a dotting tool, randomly add dots of green, yellow, and purple paint around the design. This adds movement and a playful Mardi Gras feel.

5. Seal and finish.
Once everything is completely dry, seal the surface with a clear matte varnish to protect your design.
