Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prepare the Board
Apply a coat of clear wax along the edges of your pre-stained 18" round board. This will make sanding back later much easier.
2. Base Coat
Using a foam brush, coat the board with vintage white paint. Dry with a blow dryer, then apply a second coat for full coverage.
3. Sand for a Rustic Look
Once the paint is fully dry, lightly sand the edges and surface to reveal bits of the brown stain underneath.
4. Stencil the Phrase
Tape down the “Fall is for Football” stencil at the upper portion of the board. Using a stencil brush, fill the letters with black paint.
5. Fill in the Bridges
With a detail brush, carefully connect the stencil bridges for smooth, continuous lettering.
6. Add the Football Turkey
