    Step-by-Step Instructions

    1. Stain and Blend Your Background

Start with a 4ft rectangular board and apply Botanical Green stain using a sponge, covering the sides for a clean finish.

Using a new sponge, blend Bay Blue stain on the bottom half.

Lightly spritz with water to merge the colors into a beautiful coastal ombré. Let dry completely, then lightly sand for smoothness.

    2. Stencil the Snowman

Position the Whimsical Snowman Stencil toward the bottom of the board. Using a stencil brush, apply white acrylic paint in light swirling motions to avoid bleeding.

    3. Add Your Holiday Phrase

Using the Most Wonderful Time of the Year Stencil, position and paint each section in white:

    • Stencil "It’s the Most" above the snowman.
    • Reposition to center and stencil "Wonderful."
    • Finish with "Time of the Year" toward the top.

    4. Add Snowflakes and Shells

Use snowflake designs from the Jingle All the Way Sleigh Stencil Pack to scatter snowflakes across your board in white paint.

Next, glue small seashells into snowflake shapes with E6000 for that beachy, coastal Christmas touch.

    5. Add White Highlights

For a soft, aged finish, lightly brush white paint across the edges and corners. This gives the whole project extra depth and a snowy glow.

    Helpful Tips

    • Use water-based stains for easier color blending and cleanup.
    • Offload excess paint before stenciling to avoid bleeding.
    • For outdoor use, seal your board with a clear topcoat once dry.
    • Replace seashells with wood cutouts or buttons for an indoor variation.

    Final Reveal

This project perfectly blends traditional Christmas charm with coastal vibes. Whether you're decking your porch or creating for a craft booth, this stenciled beauty brings seaside magic to the holidays!
