Looking for a fun and easy way to create a custom summer graphic tee? This patriotic western-inspired shirt is the perfect project! The vintage-inspired colors and rodeo graphics make it perfect for summer fairs, rodeos, and Fourth of July celebrations.
Lay your preferred t-shirt flat and place a piece of cardboard or another firm, flat surface inside the shirt to prevent paint from bleeding through to the back.
Center the Call the Thing Rodeo Stencil on the shirt and secure it with tape.
Using a mini stencil brush, fill in the cactus using medium blue paint.
Using a clean mini stencil brush, fill the word RODEO with deep red paint. Apply a second coat if you'd like a bolder, more vibrant finish.
Next, fill in the smaller lettering using navy blue paint for extra contrast against the tan shirt.
Paint the bull with a deep navy blue and use deep red paint for the cowboy to create a bold, patriotic western look.
Fill in the checkered pattern using the same medium blue paint to tie the entire design together. Allow the paint to dry completely before removing the stencil.
The finished tee has the perfect vintage western vibe! Pair it with denim shorts, your favorite cowgirl hat, and a few accessories for a fun summer rodeo outfit.
